What We Purchase
Toner Connect buys surplus, new, sealed, brand-name laser printer toner cartridges and supplies. To qualify, items must meet all of the following:
- Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) brand, including Hewlett Packard (HP), Canon, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Kyocera, Samsung, Toshiba, Sharp, Dell, Oki, and Panasonic.
- Sealed in the original manufacturer box with all factory wrap and seals intact.
In addition to toner, we also purchase:
- Unexpired inkjet cartridges, with at least 12 months remaining before the printed expiration date. Expiration dates apply to inkjet cartridges only, since laser toner cartridges have a long shelf life.
- Drums, imaging units, fuser kits, maintenance kits, waste toner bottles, transfer belts and rollers, and staple cartridges.
What We Do Not Purchase
We do not buy the items below.
- Used, refilled, remanufactured, or compatible (third-party) cartridges.
- Cartridges with broken sealed or opened boxes.
- Stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise misrepresented inventory.
Shipping Terms
Once your offer is accepted, we provide prepaid UPS shipping labels at no cost to you. You are responsible for packing cartridges securely, so they arrive in as-described condition.
- Use a sturdy outer box with adequate padding around each cartridge.
- Drop off at any authorized UPS location, or schedule a pickup through the carrier.
- Keep your tracking number until payment is issued.
- Toner Connect is not liable for damage or loss in transit.
All shipments are insured up to $125 of the declared value by UPS.
Shipments must be sent within 14 days of label issuance. Labels not used within that window may be voided and quotes re-evaluated against current pricing.
Packing Requirements (important for top-dollar payouts)
- Double-box all items (over-boxing is required).
- Include a copy of your quote or purchase order inside the box.
- Maximum weight per box: 45 lbs.
- Maximum box size: 72 linear inches (example: 24″ × 24″ × 24″).
- Ship as consolidated as possible.
If you need to add extra items, please contact us before shipping for approval and an updated quote.
Any unauthorized or unlisted items received will be handled as follows:
- We will pay you if we can accept them.
- Upon your request, we will return the items free of charge, or dispose of the items if you don't want them back within 5 days from inspection.
Disclaimer and Shipping Liability
Our pre-paid labels and shipping options are provided for your convenience. You are not required to use them.
You remain responsible for proper packing and ensuring the shipment arrives undamaged. In the rare event of loss or damage by the carrier, we will assist you with the claim where possible.
Claim and Payment Process
We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Once the carrier has completed their investigation and issued their final determination on the claim, we will notify you in writing of the outcome and issue the guaranteed payout up to $125 within 5 business days thereafter.
Payment Terms
Payment is issued using the method you selected when you accepted the offer:
- Zelle, Cash App, and Digital Check payouts are processed the same day of inspection.
- Physical Check is mailed via USPS and may take 7 to 10 days to arrive.
Payments are made in U.S. dollars to a payee whose name matches the account on file or the designated recipient who owns the items. Tax reporting (Form 1099) is issued where required by law.
Eligibility
To sell to Toner Connect, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have the offered product in your physical possession at the time of the offer, unless acting as an approved broker with a prior arrangement.
- Provide accurate contact, payment, and tax information.
By submitting an offer, you represent that you are the legal owner of the products and are acting on your own behalf.
We may request additional verification before issuing payment on large orders.
Inspection and Disposition of Items
Every shipment is inspected upon arrival. We check brand, model, box condition, seal integrity, and expiration date against the quoted manifest.
- Items that do not qualify (used, damaged, expired, or non-OEM) can be returned to you at your request, or we will dispose of them at no charge. Return requests must be made within 5 business days from inspection.
- Cartridges we accept become the property of Toner Connect once payment is issued.
Zero Tolerance
Toner Connect has a zero-tolerance policy for stolen, counterfeit, or fraudulently obtained inventory. By selling to us, you represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of every cartridge in your shipment.
- Shipments flagged as stolen or counterfeit are held immediately, and no payment is issued.
- We cooperate fully with manufacturer investigators and federal, state, and local law enforcement.
- Suspected fraud results in permanent account closure and forfeiture of the shipment.
